ThereYet Trackers are now available on ThereYet.co and Amazon.com

ThereYet Trackers always post a Location Event when the USB power is connected and disconnected.
Additionally, when powered by a moving vehicle, the Tracker will provide updates at regular mileage intervals. You can decide the length of such interval in the ThereYet App.
Last but not least, the ThereYet App allows you to request a Location Event at any time!

Simply go to the Events screen of the App, select the tracker that you wish to locate, and tap on the blue button next to its name. If the Tracker is switched on and within cellular coverage, it will post a new location within a few minutes.

Yes, as long as the Tracker is switched on (powered via USB or battery) and located in an area where the cellular network is available.
If the device is switched on but the cellular network is not available:
- proactive events like Power On / Off and Mileage Update will be saved locally on the Tracker, then uploaded and made available to the App as soon as the cellular network is found again
- on demand requests through the app will only be received by the device once it connects to the cellular network, and they will be generated when that happens

Absolutely! That is actually our most popular use. For best results, we recommend connecting your Tracker to a USB power source that switches on / off together with the vehicle engine, so that your Power On / Off events match the start and finish of every trip.

Yes, you certainly can. Just keep in mind that a fully charged battery will last between 3 and 10 days, depending on the strength of the cellular signal. No mileage updates will be posted when the device is battery-powered, but you can request a Location Event at any time through the app.
Also don't forget that GPS reception is only available outdoors, while only cellular-based approximate locations will be returned when the tracker is indoors.
It is also worth mentioning that ThereYet Trackers are cellular devices, so they should be switched off when traveling on commercial airplanes.

It means that a GPS location could not be found, so the Tracker used the cellular network to provide an approximate position instead. If this happens to you often with a ThereYet tracker connected in your car, please check that you have not placed it in a position where metallic objects can shield it from the GPS signal (i.e. in certain areas underneath the dashboard of a car).

Just navigate to the Trackers tab in the ThereYet App, select the device you wish to share, and tap on Location Sharing. All you need is the email address of another user who has already signed up to the ThereYet App.

We currently store all events generated by ThereYet trackers in the previous 3 months. Older events are automatically deleted. We might update this setting in the future based on user feedback.

ThereYet Trackers are automatically switched on whenever they get connected to USB power, or when the user presses the button on the Tracker and holds it for about 3 seconds until the LED flashes three times with a blue color.

The Tracker will automatically switch off when it runs out of battery. If you wish to manually switch it off (for example for air travel) press and hold its button for about 10 seconds until the LED blinks five times with a red color.

Simply press its button once while observing the LED:
- if it blinks green, the battery level is good
- if it blinks amber, the battery level is intermediate
- if it blinks red, the battery level is low
- if it does not blink, the device has no battery left or it was manually switched off
